- First visit the nearest Aadhaar enrollment center.
- Give your Aadhaar number to the Executive Officer.
- Add all the required information by filling the Aadhaar Card Correction/Update form.
- Submit the form along with the required documents.
- Your biometric data will be taken by the Executive Officer and the information will be entered.
- After scanning the documents, the original documents will be returned to you.
- After the application process is completed, the Executive Officer will give you a receipt, which will contain a receipt number.
- You can track your Aadhaar update status through this receipt number.
- Finally, pay a fee of Rs.50.
- UIDAI Your updated Aadhaar Card will be sent to the address provided by India Post.
Documents required to update name in Aadhaar Card
Note: The applicant must carry the original marriage certificate during the visit to the Aadhaar Seva Kendra. The officer will return the original certificate after scanning the document. If the applicant provides only a photocopy instead of the original document, the application may be rejected.
