Eligibility Criteria : GAIL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026
1️⃣ Educational Qualification
- Full-time B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering degree in the relevant discipline.
- Minimum 65% marks (60% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
- Final year students of the 2025–26 batch are eligible, subject to securing the required percentage.
- Candidates who completed their degree in 2024 or earlier are not eligible.
- A valid GATE-2026 score in the corresponding paper (CH, IN, EE, ME) is mandatory.
2️⃣ Age Limit (As on 18 March 2026)
- Maximum Age: 26 Years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC (NCL): 3 Years
- PwBD: 10–15 Years (as applicable)
Salary and Benefits : GAIL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026
Selected candidates will be placed in the E-2 Grade.
- Pay Scale: ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000
- Initial Basic Pay: ₹60,000 per month during one-year training

Selection Process : GAIL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026
The selection process consists of two main stages:
1️⃣ Shortlisting Based on GATE-2026 Score
Candidates will be shortlisted strictly on the basis of their valid GATE-2026 marks in the relevant engineering discipline.
(GATE-2025 or earlier scores will not be accepted.)
2️⃣ Group Discussion & Personal Interview
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for Group Discussion and/or Interview before the final selection.
