Gujarat Subordinate Services Selection Board (GSSSB) has announced to fill a total of 66 posts of Wireman Class-3 under the office of Superintending Engineer (Electrical), Gandhinagar, a department under the control of Roads and Buildings Department. Educational Qualification
- At least two years certificate course in Wireman or Electrician from any of the industrial training institutes established by the government
- Must have basic knowledge of computer applications.
- Must have sufficient knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
- The candidate appointed through direct selection will have to register with the Secretary Licensing Board of Energy and Petrochemicals Department, Government of Gujarat at the time of appointment.
Age Limit
- The last date for application is 18 years and the candidate’s age should not be less than 33 years.
- As per the provisions of Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment Rules,1967,the upper age limit will be relaxed in favour of candidates who are already in the service of the Government of Gujarat.
- General category female candidates, reserved category male and female candidates,ex-servicemen,and disabled candidates will be eligible for age relaxation as per the rules.
Pay scale
The candidates selected under Gujarat Subordinate Services Selection Board Recruitment will get a fixed salary of Rs. 26,000 per month for the first five years. Thereafter, after satisfactory performance, the candidate will be eligible for appointment in the pay scale of ₹19,900- ₹63,200 of the Seventh Pay Commission (Level-2)
