Indian Navy has released a notification for the recruitment of Short Service Commission Officer. Indian Navy is recruiting for 250 Short Service Commission Officer (SSC Officer) posts. You can apply by visiting the official website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. Last date to apply is 29 September 2024.
How many posts are vacant on which post?
A total of 250 posts will be recruited under this recruitment process of Indian Navy. It includes 157 posts of administrative branch, 15 posts of education branch and 78 posts of technical branch.
General Service – 56 Vacancies
B.Tech or BE candidates from any subject can apply for this. 60 percent marks are required in B.Tech.
- Air Traffic Controller – 20
- Naval Air Operations Officer – 21
- Pilot – 24
As for the eligibility for the above three types of posts, B.Tech or BE candidates from any subject can apply. 60% marks are required in BTech.
Education Branch – 15 Posts
Technical Branch
- Engineering Branch General Service – 36 Posts
- Electrical Branch General Service – 42 Posts
Selection Process
No written test will be conducted. Candidates will be shortlisted for SSB interview based on the marks for the degree sought.
Age Limit
Talking about the age limit for application here, the candidate should be born between 2nd July 2000 to 1st January 2006. While for education branch candidate should be born between 2nd July 2000 to 1st July 2004. For more information visit Sattavar Way-Sadhet www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.
Candidates in this recruitment will be selected through direct interview instead of written test. Selected candidates will be appointed for 10 years. Apart from this, it can be extended to four years by 2 years depending on performance and fitness. No application fee has been charged for all categories.
Who can apply?
