The horrific plane crash that took place in Ahmedabad, Gujarat two days ago,i.e. on Thursday, June 12, has shaken the entire country.Air India’s Boeing Dreamliner 787-8 crashed just minutes after taking off for London. So far,275 people have been reported dead in this horrific accident,including 241 passengers on board the plane and 34 people from the BJ Medical College Hostel.Several agencies are working to investigate the incident.

DNA Test for Identification of The Dead
DNA testing is being carried out at Ahmedabad Civil Hospital.So far, more than 230 samples have been taken.More than 50 percent of the bodies are badly burnt,making their identification a big challenge. The National Forensic Science University and the Forensic Science Lab are jointly carrying out the DNA testing work.
There Were so Many People Present in the Hostel
When the plane crash occurred on the hostel building, more than 60 doctors, students and staff were present there. Out of which 34 people have lost their lives.The total death toll in this serious accident has reached 275.And the death toll is still likely to increase.
