Educational Qualification
A candidate must have at least passed ITI. Including Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Diesel Mechanic, General Mechanic,Fitter or Should have completed minimum one year course in Turner, Electrician or Sheet Metal Worker, Auto Mobiles Body Repairer, Welder, Welder cum Fabricator, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter, Auto Mobile Paint Repairer.
Selection Process
The selection process for GSRTC Helper Recruitment is straightforward. It starts with an OMR-based written test that includes questions on General Knowledge, Gujarati and English Grammar, ITI trade-specific subjects, and Basic Computer Knowledge, totalling 100 marks. Candidates need to score at least the minimum qualifying marks to move to the next stage.
After the test, a merit list is created by combining scores from the written exam and educational qualifications. Educational qualifications carry 70% weightage, while the written test accounts for 30%. Those with the highest combined scores will be called for document verification to confirm their eligibility.

Age Limit
The age limit for applying to the posts is 18 to 35 years as of January 05, 2025. Candidates must have a date of birth between January 05, 1990, and January 06, 2007. Relaxation in the upper age limit is available for reserved categories and special groups, such as ex-servicemen, as per government rules.

- ગુજરાતી વ્યાકરણ (ધોરણ 10 કક્ષાનું) 5 ગુણ
- અંગ્રેજી ગ્રામર (ધોરણ 10 કક્ષાનું) 5 ગુણ
- લાયકાત વિષય વસ્તુને લગતા પ્રશ્નો 50 ગુણ
- કોમ્પ્યુટરના ઉપયોગની પાયાની જાણકારીના પ્રશ્નો 10
- આમ કુલ 100 માર્ક્સની OMR પદ્ધતિથી લેખિત પરીક્ષા 2 કલાકમાં આપવાની રહેશે. આ કસોટીમાં ઉતિર્ણ થવા માટે 40 ગુણ મેળવવાના રહેશે.
