Educational Qualification – Junior Scientific Assistant
Candidates must possess either:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Technology (Civil) from a recognized university OR
- Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in:
- Lab testing / Quality Control / Field QA / Field Investigation / Construction or Design
- OR worked as Laboratory Assistant, Class-3 in Gujarat Engineering Research Institute

- Basic knowledge of computer applications
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi (or both)
Salary Structure
- Initial Salary (First 5 Years): ₹40,800/- per month (Fixed Pay)
- Regular Pay after 5 Years: ₹29,200/- to ₹92,300/- under Pay Matrix Level 5 (as per 7th Pay Commission)
